The Canada Cup is an invitational elite level senior women's international fastpitch tournament that has grown to be one of the premier competitive tournaments in the world. 2008 is promising to be an outstanding year for the Canada Cup International Women's Tournament as we extended invitations to national and elite club teams from more than 25 of the top softball playing nations in the world!
About The Canada Cup International Women's Fastpitch
Tournament:
Established in 1993 by Chairman, Glen Todd, the Canada Cup International Women's Fastpitch Tournament was created to assist in the development of high caliber Canadian fastpitch athletes through world-class competition, therefore providing the Canadian National Softball team a better chance to compete for a berth in the 1996 Olympic Games.
Over the years Canada Cup has hosted top international softball teams from around the world including the USA, Australia, Japan, China, Canada, New Zealand, Chinese Taipei, Netherlands, Czech Republic, Italy, Venezuela, Puerto Rico, Denmark and more.
The 14th Canada Cup International Women’s Fastpitch Tournament was full of thrilling softball action, as all teams fought to make their way into the playoffs. The US National team made their first debut back at Canada Cup since 2003, and was able to defeat Japan 5-0 in the final game, and take home the Canada Cup Championship trophy.
The Canada Cup is regarded as one of the premier women's international softball competitions in the world and a sure fan favorite with annunal average gate attendance of over 100,000 for the nine-day tournament.

The 15th Canada Cup International Women's Fastpitch Tournament, July 12 - 20 at Softball City , Surrey , BC Canada , with many teams hoping to claim the Canada Cup as their own.
The 7th annual elite level Canada Cup International Fastpitch Futures Tournament World Junior Women's, July 14 - 20 at Cloverdale Athletic Park, Sullivan Park and Softball City in Surrey, BC Canada.
The 4th Canada Cup 16 & Under Fastpitch Showcase Tournament happening July 14 - 20 at Softball City, Cloverdale Athletic Park and Sullivan Park.
And returning for the 11th time, the Canada Cup Special Olympics Friendship Division Tournament, July 17 - 20.
